With two specialist,
fully equipped 280 bhp 2 wheel drive Rolling Roads, Aldon can cater
for the tuning and setting up of most competition cars and fast
road 'hot hatches', inc. Japanese imports and classic cars, whether
they are running on standard injection/ carburettors, performance
carburettors or aftermarket fully programmable fuel injection systems.
One of the rolling road bays is dedicated to competition and fast
road cars, while the other is used for fault diagnosis on standard
road cars.
Aldon has over 30
years experience in the rejecting / recalibration of Weber , S.U.,
Dellorto and Holley carburettors and the modification and re-curving
of Lucas and Bosch distributors causes no problem.
Over the last 10
years, with the introduction of aftermarket engine management and
fuel injection systems, Aldon has expanded its specialist skills
to cope with the increasing demand for this type of engine re-mapping
and is now known to be one of the countries foremost specialists
in supply, fitment and calibration of Alpha and other makes of engine
management fuelling and ignition systems. Hundreds of conversions
have been completed, ranging from single cylinder static engines
to V12 race engines.
Re-mapping of 'Fast
Road' cars is also available. Similar to re-chipping, the unichip
system can re-map your cars ECU and can be mapped to suit any modifications
that have been fitted. Fitting of the unichip alone (without having
any other modifications) can increase most cars performance by 10%
in both 'BHP' and torque. The unichip is used as the basis for our
'X-Rated' Power Packs.
Fitting and setting
up of all performance products inc. turbo dump valves, power boost
valves and modified camshafts can all be carried out in our workshops.
Full power plots are
also available on request.
