Aldon Automotive are actively involved in Motorsport, not only through active participation of staff members but by tuning a host of customers cars.

MD Alan Goodwin has been in motorsport since the 1960’s, initially Circuit Racing using the ex-works Targa Sprit, Midgets, Minis, F3 Lola and the Aldon F100 Sports car. Alan then rallied a MKII Escort Cosworth N/A during the 1990’s and Hillclimbed an Aldon Lotus Elise 2000-2006.

Having purchased back the original Aldon AL3 Sports Car from America Alan now competes in Hillclimbs and Sprints with great success.

John Thacker – Aldon’s Rolling Road Technician, Rallycrosses a Mini, becoming the 2006 British Rally X Champion. During 2008 he is using a full race Spridget in Circuit Racing and Sprints.

Steve Lane – One of Aldon’s Sales Advisors has just started competing in Hillclimbs and Sprints using a Ford Fiesta 1400cc and achieved a 2nd place in his last event of 2007.
